Designs. Art. Music. Writing. And spilling out my thoughts in song on a daily basis.

From Filippo Minelli’s ‘Silence/Shapes’ series. So great.

POEM TO BE READ AT 3 AM

Excepting the diner

On the outskirts

The town of Ladora

At 3 AM

Was dark but

For my headlights

And up in

One second-story room

A single light

Where someone

Was sick or

Perhaps reading

As I drove past

At seventy

Not thinking

This poem

Is for whoever

Had the light on

by Donald Justice

Forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair.

Khalil Gibran

December 16th

The embers wisp about
To reveal in the glow
Your face, more peaceful and young
laughing. Crackling.
The warmth of the fire and two souls
and snowfall to erase the past
And lips that grow weary
The furnace watches in envy
at the recognition
of being taken in regardless
of flaws, or fears
into warm arms.

More to come! :)

Six Word Stories:

Say thanks. The end comes swift.

She called. I answered. Get out.

Small ring in box, never opened.

1:37 AM. Stop haunting my dreams.

Sweeping up glass. Back together.

Describe you in six words? Impossible.
